As a Psychologist with Counselling Psychology Endorsement I am registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA). I am able to work with children, adolescents and adults facing life challenges and developmental issues. I work with a range of presenting concerns to support better outcomes. The aim of intervention is to enhance well-being; which may lead to change in emotional, psychological and behavioural change.
Cherilee Botha Counselling Psychologist BA (Hons), MA Comm Couns Pysc. (Cum Laude)
As a psychologist I have a passion for meeting people where they are, to offer them support in a safe and non-judgemental manner. I hope to assist clients in understanding themselves more deeply and to move forward based on this new found knowledge. I feel each client has strengths that can be used to help them through their difficulties.
When given the support to work through challenges, heal, and begin to see the strength and resilience they have, clients begin to shift and build meaning in their daily lives. What a privilege to be a part of this process.
I enjoy working through presenting problems to facilitate change and personal growth. I tailor the approaches used to my clients’ needs and best practice for their presenting concerns. I feel strongly about therapist-patient fit and seek to ensure that my clients are comfortable and able to collaborate with me.
